On the other hand, Bai Tu Long & Lan Ha Bay are believed  to be two bays which are increasingly recognized becauses of its beauty & tranquilty. Travelers who prefer more privacy & less touristy areas tend to choose the overnight boat with the cruising loop in these areas over Ha Long Bay recently.

Please bear in mind that certain activities like swimming or diving may not be permitted if the weather becomes too cold.

Humidity is starting to rise so the weather is generally pleasant with clear blue skies. This season is also a perfect timing for outdoor activities such as: kayaking, swimming, rock climbing & especially squid fishing in the evening ( the squid season in Halong lasts for only 2-3 months at most).
April  coincides with Easter festive so you might expect this period slightly busier than other months. The price range at this time is also slightly increase basing on customer’s demand.

It's better to arrive at the port 15 to 30 minutes before the scheduled boarding time to ensure you are on time and to avoid any traffic issues. The cost for private car depends on the distance that you go from. So please update the exact location to pick you & your request to be dropped off for exact quote proposal.

Actually we will pick the customers up from the Old Quarter in Hanoi only. If you are in Halong Bay, we will send a private car to pick up, the fee will be paid at receptionist. The join-in transfers are currently available with the route from Hanoi to Halong Bay and vice versa only. From the Ha Long city to our ports, we can arrange the private transport for your own convenience and time flexibility with surcharges. Please inbox us to have the best rate. For the customer's best conveniences, we always advise you to book the transport with us once you make the cruise reservation. Regarding the customers made reservation with Orient Legacy Cruise, currently, we offer the limousine Dcar 9 seats with exclusive 7 guests only with the price as : US$ 35 per person for the round trip Hanoi - Ha Long - Hanoi and US$ 20 per person for one way.

All transportation vehicles (cars, minivans and coaches) have seatbelts but child seats and restraints are not available

The shuttle bus or Dcar Limousine will ordinarily pick you up at the cruise lounge around noon and drop you off in Hanoi from 14:30 - 15:00. Also, it depends on the day's traffic situation. If you expect an early flight from Hanoi( NoiBai International or Domestic Airport), please inform us when you check in upon made reservation, so that we can advise you the best time frame & arrange the transport to convenietly drop you first.

There is the possibility when you can arrange the flight to other cities at the same day when you finish the cruise. Before making the flight's reservation, please make sure you've check throughly the distance from our ports to the airport's location and the estimated travel time, disembark time. Regarding the domestic flight, you should expect to be at the airport 2 hours before the flight's departure, whereas, the international flights require at least 3 hours in advance at the airport. The most popular airports available to take the flights after the cruise includes: Noi Bai International Airport ( Hanoi), Cat Bi Airport ( Hai Phong), Van Don Airport ( Quang Ninh).

It's not compulsory however if you're happy with the services on board, the gratuity is appreciated for the team's efforts performance.

You will have no many choice for the local bus which is suitable for the foreign. However, we suggest you to book our shuttle bus or Limousine to be safe and ontime with no much price difference. Local bus is available with diverse price depending on the quality & brand name. The services are mainly used for domestic customers so language barrier is another attribute that you should take into account. Besides, upon making the reservation, please check carefully the route whether the local bus use the freeway or normal way ( the freeway normally costs you higher because of the tolls yet consequently will make the trip much shorter) and the drop off port information.
